International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
The IELTS is an international standardized test of English language proficiency. Established in 1989, it is intended for students, professionals, and immigrants who want to study, practice, or live in an English-speaking country.
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
First administered in 1964, the TOEFL aims to evaluate an individual’s English comprehension and speaking abilities in an academic setting. Most English-speaking universities require the TOEFL for admission of non-native English speakers.
Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC)
The TOEIC was developed to test an individual’s ability to use English in a workplace setting.
